Is the seller responsible if an order is lost or damaged during the shipping process?

While all sellers should package their lots with an appropriate level of care and protection, accidents do sometimes occur in the shipping process.

If a dispute’s mediator believes that, through no fault of the seller, damage occurred in transit, they will begin a separate dispute process between the seller and the carrier. Sellers do not have to participate in this process, but are nonetheless encouraged to take all possible precautions to prevent such incidents in the future.
