B-Stock is so excited to welcome Sophie Vilter to the Marketing team this summer! As a summer teammate, we know Sophie will be an incredible asset to the company. Sophie graduated in 2021 from Denison University, majoring in Math/Data Analytics, and is currently studying at the Technical University of Denmark. Learn a bit more about Sophie and see their answers to some questions below.

Q: What are you most excited to learn at B-Stock?

How to use data analysis skills I have learned and apply them to the marketing field.

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? (Or still want to be!)

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a dancer! I have been taking dance lessons since I was 2 years old.

Q: What is one piece of advice you’ve been given that has stuck?

Treat others with love and mercy.

Q: Where can people find you after work or school?

This summer, you would find me at the beach! Here in CT I am only a 5-minute drive away.

Q: What is a hidden talent of yours?

I love to knit! I recently knitted a very nice pair of mittens.

Q: What plays in the background while you work (music genre, podcast, news)?

Often some pop music to keep me energized, or a comedy podcast that I enjoy.

Q: Where would you go with unlimited PTO?

I have always wanted to visit Australia and New Zealand!

Q: What do you do when you’re stuck creatively? How do you get the creative juices flowing?

I get moving! I go on a walk, put on some music, and talk through all my thoughts.

Q: What’s something you’ve accomplished that you’re proud of?

When I graduated from Denison, I was invited into Pi Mu Epsilon, the U.S. honorary national mathematics society. I put a lot of care into my math studies, so I was very proud of this recognition!

Q: What is one thing you hope to contribute to B-Stock?

I hope to contribute positivity amongst my team and fellow summer interns!
