Like New Appliances

On B-Stock, ‘Like New’ is defined as: Unused merchandise with minimal signs of handling. These appliances could include old or obsolete models, inventory that didn’t sell in stores, or have been sitting in the warehouse too long. Bidding may be higher for like new goods, but the resale value is naturally higher. However, in a pinch, most customers won’t mind a scratch or dent if they’re getting a good enough discount! Or, if the cosmetic damage won’t be noticed in a space like a laundry room.   

Used Appliances 

A large percentage of the major appliances listed on the marketplace are customer returns. On B-Stock, ‘Used’ is defined as: Merchandise with visible signs of use and/or functional damage that may include but is not limited to water/food stains, lint/detergent present, scratches/dents, missing parts, etc.

Note: If you’re searching for small appliances (think: mixers, vacuums, coffee makers, etc.), these can be broken down even further as Used – Good or Used – Fair. 

Other conditions on B-Stock: 

• Salvage: Merchandise requiring significant repairs prior to resale or else will be used for parts/components only.
• Mixed: Can include products of any quality, including salvage. There’s no guarantee of one particular product condition unless specified in the manifest or auction details.
