How does line item pricing work?

Some B-Stock Contracts permit bidding on individual line items. For example, a Contract might be listed with the ability to name your price per category, condition, model, or other attribute.

In such cases, your final order value is determined by applying your category-specific percentage bids to the total MSRP of all items within the contract order and then aggregating these values.

Examples:

  • Bid 10% on apparel, $10k in retail/MSRP value of apparel. You get charged $1k for that order
  • Bid 10% on apparel and 20% on electronics. If the order’s MSRP is $20k total, containing $10k of apparel and $10k of electronics, you will be charged $3k for the order ($1k+$2k).
