What are the B-Stock Product and Packing Conditions?

Most B-Stock storefronts follow standardized product and packaging conditions (outlined below).

Product Conditions

New: Unsold merchandise with no signs of use.
Like New: Unused merchandise with minimal signs of handling.
Refurbished: Merchandise that has been repaired to full functionality but may have signs of wear or use unless otherwise specified.
Used – Good: Merchandise with signs of use from handling and/or customer exposure that is typically sellable without repairs needed.
Used – Fair: Merchandise with heavy signs of use from handling and/or customer exposure that is likely in need of repair prior to resale.
Salvage: Merchandise requiring significant repairs prior to resale or else will be used for parts/components only.
Mixed: Can include products of any quality, including salvage. There’s no guarantee of one particular product condition unless specified in the manifest or auction details.

Scratch & Dent: Unused merchandise with signs of handling and/or warehouse exposure that is sellable without repairs needed.
Used: Merchandise with visible signs of use and/or functional damage that may include but is not limited to water/food stains, lint/detergent present, scratches/dents, missing parts, etc.

Device Grade A: Like new condition. Negligible scratches and blemishes.
Device Grade B: Light wear and tear. May have one or several light scratches that do not catch a fingernail or tool. No cracks present on the device or display.
Device Grade C: More aggressive wear and tear. May have cracks on certain surface areas such as camera lens or rear lens but not on the display cover lens.
Device Grade D: Heavy cosmetic damage with cover lens cracks. Excessive damage on multiple surface areas and cracks on the display cover lens but not on the screens. May include missing parts, liquid damage, or screen burn.
Device Grade E: Devices with severe cosmetic and/or functional damage, including but not limited to:
- Heavy cosmetic damage with screen damage
- Excessive damage on multiple surface areas, including the internal display
- Damage may include liquid damage, missing parts, screen burn, etc.
- Devices that may be non-functional, or severely damaged. Intended for parts or repair only

Original: Sealed, unopened packaging that may show signs of aging or contain stickers showing markdowns. Items include tags and may or may not be case packed.
Open Box: Original packaging that has been opened or unsealed and may show signs of aging or contain stickers showing markdowns. Items include tags and may or may not be case packed.
No Packaging: Loose items that are no longer in original retail packaging.
Damaged: Original packaging that is significantly flawed or blemished.
Non-Original: Not in original retail packaging. Items have been repackaged into generic packaging that includes but is not limited to plain cardboard boxes, poly bags, case packs, protective packaging (plastic wrap, foam, corner covers), etc.
Mixed: Packaging may range from original retail packaging to damaged or missing packaging. There is no guarantee as to the ratio of packaging types present.
Security Tags Included: A percentage of items will still have security tags intact. Clearance markings, labels, or other sticker markings may be present.
Free of Security Tags: May contain original tags. Clearance markings, labels, or other sticker markings may be present.
