Inventory Delivered Consistently at a Fixed Price
B-Stock’s Contracts give buyers exclusive access to inventory sold via long-term agreements. Instead of buying a few pallets or one truckload at a time, you can lock in a contract for 1 truckload a week for 3 months, for example. We offer contracts across all categories - apparel, appliances, home, mixed lots, etc. - from sellers you know, like Amazon, Target, Walmart, and more. Whether you need a truck a week of men’s apparel near Milwaukee or ten trucks a month of appliances shipped to Texas, B-Stock can match you with a contract to fulfill your inventory needs.
Consistent Inventory
Contracts offer a consistent flow of inventory at a predictable price and shipping rate - reducing uncertainty and allowing you to plan ahead and grow your business.
Exclusive Access
Gain access to exclusive inventory that can only be sold as a contract and will not appear at auction.
Saves Time
With inventory delivered consistently, you can spend time selling and running your business instead of hunting for new inventory to purchase.
How Contracts Work
1. Get Qualified
- You must purchase a minimum of 2 – 4 truckloads per month with weekly or bi-weekly shipments
- Read Buyer Eligibility & Qualifications below for more information.
2. Try a Test Lot
- You may have the opportunity to sample the inventory before you commit with one or more test lots before committing to a longer-term contract.
- Read About Test Lots below for more information.
3. Sign Up for a Contract
- Commit to the contract, either by winning a contract listing on the B-Stock marketplace or through your Account Manager.
- Pay as you go – you don’t need to pay for the whole contract up front.
4. Receive Your Orders
- Orders are fulfilled beginning on your contract start date through the end date at the frequency and amount in the listing.
- At the end of your contract, you may be given the option to extend for a longer duration.
Buyer Eligibility & Qualifications
Contracts are for high-volume buyers; read the following requirements to see if contracts are right for you.
Volume & Commitment
- You must commit to the entire contract duration – cancellations may result in suspension from the program.
- Inventory is variable and you don’t get to pick and choose your orders. For more information, see Inventory Estimates & Variability below.
Payments
- Payment is required within 24 hours of order notification.
- You need enough cash flow to pay for your contract orders – no late payments or order cancellations allowed.
- You may be required to sign up for net terms, leave a deposit, or provide an alternative payment method to be auto-charged.
Shipping & Receiving
- Able to receive shipments with 2 – 3 days’ notice.
- Loading dock or forklift required for full truckload shipments.
- Flexibility in shipment receiving dates and times
Inventory Estimates & Variability
- Volume: # of items or pallets per lot
- Mix: the ratio of different types of inventory in a lot, such as categories mix being 50% sports and 50% toys compared to 70% / 30%
- Order Frequency: # of orders per week or month
How Does Contract Pricing Work?
For example: a manifest with $100,000 in retail value at a 15% contract price costs $15,000. This does not include the cost of the B-Stock fee or shipping.
Contracts are pay-as-you-go: you don’t need to pay for all the inventory up front. You pay per order and you will be notified when your order is created & ready to be paid.
About Test Lots
B-Stock offers the ability to purchase one or more test lots (maximum of 3) of inventory similar to what you would receive as part of a contract.
If you are interested in a test lot, fill out and submit the form at the bottom of this page or purchase a test lot listing from the B-Stock Direct marketplace.
Average turnaround time for test lot requests is one week to shipment. After receiving your test lot, a B-Stock account manager will follow up to ask if you want to sign up for a contract or whether you want to try another contract program.
