B-Stock is so excited to welcome Giancarlo Bustos to the Engineering team this summer! As a summer teammate, we know Giancarlo will be an incredible asset to the company. Giancarlo is currently studying Computer Science at Western Governors University. Learn a bit more about Giancarlo and see their answers to some questions below.

Q: What are you most excited to learn at B-Stock?

I’m most excited to learn about the QA team’s tech stack.

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? (Or still want to be!)

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a truck driver (not anymore).

Q: What is one piece of advice you’ve been given that has stuck?

You are the architect of your own destiny.

Q: Where can people find you after work or school?

People could find me at home after work.

Q: What is a hidden talent of yours?

Drawing is my hidden talent.

Q: What plays in the background while you work (music genre, podcast, news)?

90s rock or studying music on Pandora.

Q: Where would you go with unlimited PTO?

The Mayan city of Chichen Itza or The Grand Canyon

Q: What do you do when you’re stuck creatively? How do you get the creative juices flowing?

I enjoy going outside for a walk when I get stuck.

Q: What’s something you’ve accomplished that you’re proud of?

I am proud to finish my Computer Science degree after so many years of hard work.

Q: What is one thing you hope to contribute to B-Stock?

I hope to contribute by being a helpful and reliable team member.
