B-Stock is so excited to welcome David Philip to the Marketing team this summer! As a summer teammate, we know David will be an incredible asset to the company. David is currently studying Integrated Business at The University of Central Florida. Learn a bit more about David and see his answers to some questions below.

Q: What are you most excited to learn at B-Stock?

I am most excited to learn about the multiple different facets of Marketing and how it can differ between each employee’s use of it.

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? (Or still want to be!)

When I was a kid I wanted to be a WWE wrestler. I looked up to all of them, and also I thought it was real so it was way cooler back then.

Q: What is one piece of advice you’ve been given that has stuck?

One piece of advice that has stuck with me is to do whatever you are scared of doing, no matter what. If you need that little push to get you to do it just count to 3. And on 3 whatever it is you have to do – do it. I have social anxiety so it has helped me become more confident and outgoing in my life.

Q: Where can people find you after work or school?

After work or school people can find me on the basketball courts with my friends.

Q: What is a hidden talent of yours?

A hidden talent of mine is that I am very good at memorizing lyrics to songs.

Q: What plays in the background while you work (music genre, podcast, news)?

I always have to have music playing in the background. Usually something new or something instrumental-based.

Q: Where would you go with unlimited PTO?

I would go to Europe with unlimited PTO. I would backpack throughout continental Europe and hopefully, find some good food on the way.

Q: What do you do when you’re stuck creatively? How do you get the creative juices flowing?

When I am stuck creatively, I go outside. I skate and listen to music and it relaxes me and allows me to think outside the box better.

Q: What’s something you’ve accomplished that you’re proud of?

I am proud that I have made it this far in life. I made it to college and I got a great internship. Honestly, it is more than most of my family can say they have done. So not wasting the chance they gave me to succeed has made me proud.

Q: What is one thing you hope to contribute to B-Stock?

I hope to contribute a different point of view that has not been present yet. I hope I can bring forth new ideas that can help this company grow and showcase my potential.
