We’ve got a lot of great employees around here; team players who go above and beyond to ensure our clients and customers have the best experience possible. To help recognize these folks, we’ve created the Grade A Award: this quarterly award spotlights outstanding performance by individuals who 1) embody the B-Stock values, 2) are collaborative, dedicated team members, and 3) make bold attempts and innovate.
To kick the award off with a bang, B-Stock’s CEO, Howard Rosenberg, announced our first round of Grade A recipients at our annual all-hands End of Year Event (this year’s event was extra special by the way as we celebrated our 10-year anniversary). Congrats to our four winners!
What her nominator wrote: Cassie makes the listings process seamless during the implementation and pilot period on new marketplaces. Her work is invaluable in making new sites successful. She communicates effectively with clients and all internal teams to optimize auction listings and has a strong understanding of how buyers digest the information we display. Always looking for ways to improve the process, she consistently makes recommendations that better align listings with the overall site strategy. With Cassie leading the team we never have to worry about auctions being created on time and accurately. In addition, she is ALWAYS willing to go the extra mile to help anyone on the team.
What her nominator wrote: Amanda took the role of launch specialist and has truly grown it into something uniquely its own that is still evolving. She collaborates with the implementation team to discover the best buyer experience, and to smooth out all processes associated with new clients who launch with us. She has already developed a buyer outreach program and is now working on the “hand off” – the moment when a pilot ends and it’s time for the listings team to handle a client’s primary care.
What her nominator wrote: Lisa’s passion and drive are beyond measure and more than one of her colleagues nominated her for the Grade A award. She listens to the client and adapts our solution so they can derive the greatest benefit from B-Stock’s service. She never over commits and is not afraid to express her opinion or the facts. Her clients have come to respect her opinion and rely on her expertise. Lisa is one of the brightest and most positive persons at B-stock and has been an amazing mentor and role model with her successful marketplaces.
What her nominator wrote: Everyone at B-Stock knows Sierra Smith as a happy, energetic and hardworking HR Manager, who has been hiring, helping and supporting employees and people managers for nearly two years now. Sierra has made her mission to continually go above and beyond, with grace and positivity, not just solving the different problems that fall into her lap or helping teams grow, but also has been working hard to find meaningful ways to reinforce the behaviors that make B-Stock great. Thank you Sierra for embodying the spirit of B-Stock and this award everyday by going above and beyond, and for having a “passion for building something great” through the people who make it all happen.
