How It Works
1
Application Process & Account Setup
Before you can bid on an auction, you must apply and register for a free account.
You must submit your e-mail, personal name, proof of business, business address and name, and phone number. As proof of business you must provide a VAT ID if you are registered for VAT, or proof of current trading (recent invoice or utility bill) if you are not registered for VAT. Your address should be the address where merchandise will be delivered and will be used to calculate your shipping rate. In case of unexpected shipping issues please provide a phone number where you are available during normal business hours so that carriers can contact you directly.
If you are outside of the EU, you are ineligible to apply for Amazon Liquidation Auctions.
Once your application is complete, look out for a verification email sent to the email address used during registration. Be sure to click on the verification link in the e-mail to confirm your application. You will be notified within one business day if your application has been approved.
Once your application has been approved, please log-in to your account. You will be asked for your preferred delivery times and whether you have any special delivery requirements. These details enable shipping carriers to make the necessary arrangements for easy merchandise delivery.
2
Find the Products You Need
There are three major filters available to accelerate your search. You can filter by product category by clicking on any category displayed at the top of any marketplace page or enter a keyword in the search bar. On the left-hand side of the homepage, you can filter by shipment type, condition, and country. Please visit our conditions page for important details on merchandise conditions and locations. For additional information regarding shipment type or inventory location, visit our FAQs.
3
Bidding on Auctions
Once you have found an auction to bid on, note the minimum required bid amount below the bid box field. Enter the highest amount that you are willing to pay (“My Maximum Bid”) for that auction in the bid box and click the “Bid Now” button. Look out for a message near the top of the page which indicates if your bid is high enough to become the current high bid. If not, you may wish to increase your bid amount. All bids placed on Amazon Liquidation Auctions act as "proxy" bids. You can bid the highest amount you are willing to bid and allow the system to manage the bidding for you. The current Bid displayed on each auction is equivalent to the second highest bidder's bid, plus one bid increment (25€ for EU countries or £25 for UK on Amazon Liquidation Auctions).
You will receive an email confirming that your bid was successfully placed every time you place a new bid, or if another buyer has outbid you by entering a higher bid amount than your maximum bid amount. If a buyer places a bid within the last 5 minutes of an auction, the auction end time will extend for an additional 3 minutes each time a new bid is placed (“Popcorn Bidding”).
4
Payment
Payment for all auctions must made by wire transfer. Wire instructions are provided in the “Bid Won” email sent after you‘ve won an auction, along with your Order Number (also found in your account‘s Order Details page), any VAT charge, shipping charge, and order total. Payment must be made within two 2 business days of receiving this email. To avoid any shipping delays with your order, please include your Order Number in your wire transfer details. You will receive a payment confirmation email from B-Stock Solutions within 1 business day and your order status will be updated to “Paid”. If you do not receive your payment confirmation within 3 days of your payment, please contact [email protected]. Late payments or order cancellations may result in your accounts being denied across all sites hosted by B-Stock.
Amazon does not issue a pro forma invoice; you will be sent a final invoice after merchandise has shipped in full (which can take up to 6 weeks for overstock shipments). You can use the "Bid Won" email as an invoice until all merchandise has been shipped and received.
5
Shipping & Delivery
Once your payment is confirmed, shipping will be initiated. All auctions are “binding shipping” - Amazon has selected a carrier that you are required to use.
Orders will be shipped to the address you provided during the application process. Any changes to your shipping address after payment has been submitted may result in a delay or cancellation of delivery and may generate reconsignment fees.
For overstock auctions, please expect the order to be broken up into multiple shipments from multiple Amazon warehouses. Before bidding, make sure you have appropriate warehouse staffing and equipment (e.g. forklift) in order to unload merchandise immediately upon arrival during the time frame you selected throughout a 4-6 week shipment period.
For customer returns auctions, shipments will be in palletized lots and will be executed within 7 days of payment. Pallets are included in the shipment and do not need to be returned.
